Brush modifiers are an easy way to change shape, size, rotation, color, pattern, and texture of your brush.
Brush modifier icons are located on the left side of the program. Click an icon to display the modifier ArtSets for that category.
The first brush modifier icon allows you to change the shape of your brush.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select a brush shape. Next to each shape there is a thumbnail example of the shape. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a brief description of each ArtSet.
The scond brush modifier icon allows you to change the rotation of your brush.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select brush rotations, in degrees. Next to each selection there is a thumbnail example of the rotation. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a brief description of each ArtSet.
The third brush modifier icon allows you to change the size of your brush.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select a brush size. Next to each size there is a thumbnail example.
The fourth brush modifier icon allows you to change the texture of the brush.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select a brush texture. Next to each selection there is a thumbnail example of the texture. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a brief description of each ArtSet. With a textured brush, adjusting the density will define how much of the texture is shown. Adjusting the density is similar to applying pressure to the brush.
The fifth brush modifier icon allows you to adjust the color and pattern.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select a paint color or pattern. Next to each selection there is a thumbnail example. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a brief description of each ArtSet.
The last brush modifier icon allows you to adjust the effects of the brush.
By clicking this icon you open a dialog box which allows you to select a brush effect. Next to each selection there is a thumbnail example. At the bottom of the dialog box there is a brief description of each ArtSet.
