The standard way to select a color is to select it from the color palette. The color palette is located on the left side of the program.
Select your desired color from the square color thumbnails. The color palette that is shown above is an example of a static color palette. This means that the palette will not change when you select a color. If you would like to change a color in a palette, select a color and right-click on the desired space.
To select a different loaded color palette, click on one of the eight palette tabs located under the square color thumbnails.
By right-clicking a tab, you open the Load Palette dialog which lets you access numerous additional color palettes and load them to that tab.
Once the desired color is selected, you can adjust the color with the sliders that are located under the loaded palette tabs.
