Brushes

The term Brush is used to describe any of the items that you can select from the Brush Shortcut panel. This includes standard painting and drawing tools such as oil paints, pens, and pastels. It also includes erasers, blenders, cloners, and a wide range of other painting tools that you may use. Another way to look at it is anything you can do on your paper using your left mouse button is done with a brush.
